From Karl Lagerfeld's Spring 2017 Ready-to-Wear collection, this collar necklace sets rhinestone embellishment against palladium-plated metal and strass, culminating in the house's signature interlocking CC pendant at its centre. The collar shape sits close to the neck rather than falling in a long drop, giving the piece a structured, almost sculptural presence when worn, closer to a piece of body jewellery than a conventional pendant necklace. A lobster clasp keeps the fastening secure at the back, while the sparkle of the strass runs consistently across the metal, giving the whole piece an unmistakably runway presence rather than a single decorative accent.
