Maltese Cross Brooch

The Maltese cross, sometimes called the Amalfi cross, began as Fulco di Verdura's interpretation of the Knights of Malta star, created for Coco Chanel and later becoming an iconic motif across the house's designs.

This pre-owned brooch renders that history in a gold-toned base set with white enamel, fastened with a simple bar-pin closure. Its graphic, geometric form makes it a versatile accessory, equally at home pinned to a bag, a pair of shoes, or a lapel for a seriously on-trend finish. It is a small piece with an outsized story, carrying decades of Chanel's design language into a single wearable emblem.

Condition: Excellent condition. The piece carries very minor cracking to the front, consistent with its vintage character.
