Jean Paul Gaultier designed the 'So Black' collection at Hermès when he was creative director at the house from 2003 to 2010. As one of his last collections, the 'So Black' bags launched on the Fall 2010 runway. Highly desirable and hard-to-find runway bags from Gaultier’s time at Hermès are among the highest-valued bags in the world and this bag is a stellar example. Featuring Hermès's classic Barenia leather, it wears well over time and was originally used by the house as saddle leather. This spectacular piece also comes in ruthenium hardware, is 30cm wide and 24cm tall and comes with an all-black Hermès dustbag.
