Crafted in Italy, this extremely rare and highly sought after bag from the Chanel Spring 2003 Runway Collection showcases a black leather exterior, a structured saddle bag design and a distinctive front flap which is adorned with ruthenium draped chains and decoratively hanging antique medallion coins, which are embellished with the iconic interlocking CC logo for a modern touch. A fold-over top opens with a belted closure and concealed snap fastening to reveal a spacious interior compartment, with room for all your Chanel essentials and is perfect for any collector looking for that one of a kind piece. This versatile piece can be carried over the shoulder or alternatively as a cross body using the adjustable leather strap, which is also adorned with decorative antique medallion coins.
This bag comes presented in a Chanel box and dust bag, with a Chanel authenticity card and care card.
Serial Number: 8199461 (Circa 2003).
No alterations or repairs have been made to the bag. however the exterior of the bag shows very mild rubbing along the sides of the belted closure, minor press indentations to the exterior leather, and some light surface scratching. The interior also shows some light scratching consistent with age and use.
This bag comes presented in a Chanel box and dust bag, with a Chanel authenticity card and care card.
