Straight from Prada's Spring/Summer 2015 ready-to-wear runway, this coat is a study in tactile femininity, its brocade-effect silk blend given over entirely to all-over floral embroidery in a beige and multicolour palette. The open front falls in a clean, straight hem, while long sleeves and a silk lining lend the piece a fluid, considered drape that moves beautifully over the body. It is the kind of garment built to be worn open, thrown over the shoulders, or fastened loosely, letting the embroidery do the talking against simpler pieces beneath.

Finished with a full silk lining and presented in pristine condition, this runway-label coat carries its craftsmanship close to the surface, from the fineness of the stitching to the way the brocade catches the light.
