If Everyone Can Have It, I Don't Want It

The boutique's ground floor is where you'll find unique pieces from Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dior, and other brands Rewind Vintage Affairs chose for Tessabit.
Rewind offers a unique twist on classic Chanel items that have been very popular, such as the Lego and Milk Carton bags from the Supermarket collection, the Hula Hoop and Container bags, and the colourful glass Gripoix jewellery from the 1970s. There’s also a wide selection of limited edition items such as skateboards, rackets, ping pong sets, and surfboards meticulously handpicked and installed in an old 1930s florist shop in Cernobbio, one of the most picturesque villages on Lake Como.

Among Rewind's curation of pieces are natural perfumes, Aura Pro Future, and a collection of decorative mushroom sculptures made by Marjan Pejoski, who famously designed Bjork's Swan Dress for the Oscars.

The first floor Pietro Terzini’s solo exhibition IF EVERYONE CAN HAVE IT, I DON’T WANT IT, curated by KROMYA Art Gallery from Lugano, is the connecting element of the project.

Pietro Terzini Solo Exhibition: If Everyone Can Have It, I Don't Want It

Architect and artist Pietro Terzini captures the contemporary Instagram-friendly pop spirit in ready-made works of art he creates by assembling disruptive statements and fashion house packaging such as logo-printed paper shopping bags.No wonder Pietro Terzini’s name and art have already been associated with established fashion houses such as Tiffany, Stella McCartney, Moncler and Palm Angels. He played a big role in helping revive Convivio, an old charity fashion event in Milan.

His career started when he worked with Chiara Ferragni, who had a huge following of 4 million people. The digital entrepreneur-to-be used to receive many gifts, mostly from luxury brands and all nicely packaged in boxes, which she would throw away right after opening. Terzini started collecting them with the idea of them being blocks of colour to decorate his bookcase. But there was still no real spark between him and those branded paper totes. One day, a colleague asked him why he was taking all those empty boxes home. He promptly answered her, and that was when the epiphany hit him. As he was replying to her, Pietro Terzini felt an idea shape his mind. “Can’t you see that if I hang them on the wall, they look like paintings?” he said. And yes, they have since become paintings in Terzini’s hands.

Pietro Terzini quickly achieved success, notably through the bold graffiti on the new Hermès store in Milan, which has become widely recognized as one of the most viral digital art pieces on the Internet. You may wonder about the story behind Terzini’s famous inscription on the equally famous oversized orange background, which reads,
“Love didn’t meet her at her best; it met her in her mess"

Artist Pietro Terzini

One day, Pietro Terzini went for a run in Via della Spiga and Via Monte Napoleone, where he stumbled upon what he still considers "a marvellous canvas." The graffiti artist intended to return and spray-paint a quote he had in mind. But his lawyer housemate convinced him not to, mentioning the possibility of getting in trouble and having to pay a fine. So, Pietro decided to drop the idea and took a photo instead, switching gears from graffiti to digital art. He edited the photo, added the quote, and posted it online. It got a lot of love, and Pietro Terzini enjoyed great success.
From that moment on, the artist's phone started ringing: first, art galleries reached out to commission his paintings, and eventually, brands began seeking him out. From Valentino and Stella McCartney to Kiton and Palm Angels, they all wanted to collaborate with Pietro Terzini.
