Anne Hathaway takes on a new role in Tod’s new “signature collection” campaign, targeting a younger, more fashion-forward clientele. The irresistibly sexy celebrity model sprawls her bodacious body over the door of an equally sexy, fiery red convertible, with a level of sophistication only Miss Hathaway could pull off. There she is in full femme-fatal mode, wearing long red talons (which she will be exercising in her upcoming role as Cat-Woman) and a simple, yet incredibly chic, LBD to pull off her sultry pose.
“What makes this collaboration with Anne so perfect is that not only is she a young actress with accomplished roles to her credit, she is also one to watch for her creative choices. She generates excitement based on the quality of her work, modern beauty and intelligence,” the fashion brand’s creative director, Derek Lam, shared with the Telegraph.
Photographed by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggot, each image captured is as polished as the glossy sports car in them. The bags are inspired by Bourdin and Andy Warhol and will come in what Tod's calls "strong, decisive tones": deep red, black, electric blue, fuchsia , lavender, beige and cream.
"The designs are classic and the materials are of the highest quality. As a result, they don't grow older, they only grow better just like a woman," says Hathaway.
