This weekend we have been going to crazy for Louis Vuitton, the world's most valuable luxury brand for the seventh year running! It has recently been revealed that the french fashion house is currently valued at $25.9 billion (£16.5 billion) according to Millward Brown Optimor's 2012 Top 100 BrandZ study.

The brand, for which Marc Jacobs is the creative director, also recently announced a collaboration with Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, which, according to the Telegraph, is 'the latest in a number of exclusive artist partnerships which have thus far created some of the brand's most iconic, and best-selling, pieces.' Kusama has created a line of clothes and accessories for the French luxury brand which will launch in Vuitton stores worldwide on July 10, to be followed shortly with a second collection in October.

With rumors of a new luxury stationary coming out soon, and being up 7% in their value since last year, it is safe to say that the French fashion house's renowned canvas print bags and the consistent reputation of the products they sell, is what makes Louis Vuitton one of the best brands in history.
