BBC Children In Need is an annual charity appeal, televised by the BBC across the UK. The charity aims at raising money to help British children suffering with disabilities, family problems and bullying, amongst other difficult situations.

Money is raised with the help of special guests and performers, as well as the infamous Pudsey Bear mascot, an adorable, lifesize, walking, yellow, fuzzy bear with a polka dotted bandage wrapped over one eye.

This year 12 fashion designers have each created their own Fashionable Pudsey, which were auctioned off on eBay on November 8th to raise money for BBC Children in Need. Designers include Giles Deacon, Mulberry, Patrick Grant, Jonathan Saunders, Liberty, Katie Hillier and Erdem.

Creative director of Mulberry, Emma Hill, explains her bear: "The Mulberry Fashion Pudsey is inspired by our brand heritage and English tradition. As Mulberry began 40 years ago with, and is still loved for leather accessories we decided to use leather for Fashion Pudsey. He comes in the same Soft Buffalo leather we use for our Alexa bag and his colour is classic Oak with Chocolate paws and mouth - two of the most iconic Mulberry colours!"

Children in Need airs on November 18th in the UK this year! Be sure to watch it and donate generously to the aid of our younger generations! xx
